Who We Are

Founded in 1998, Phoebe Hearst Elementary School Foundation aka Hearst Foundation is a 501(c)(3), volunteer run, non-profit organization.

What We Do

Annually, the Foundation coordinates and financially supports a variety of programs, items and community events and projects to strengthen the students experience at Hearst Elementary.

We hold an annual Gala where we raise money for needs around the school.

The Foundation financially supports the following items:

  • Mystery Science kits 

  • World Music 

  • Zoo assembly 

  • Symphony Field Trips

  • Performing Arts for 4th and 5th 

  • Murals 

  • Library upgrades 

  • Gaga pits 

  • Funnel ball 

  • Everyone a Reader 

  • Community coffees 

  • Hero, The Hearst Hound 

  • Bathroom paint and decals 

  • STEAM lab 

  • Various benches and tables around campus
